Women on Wednesdays is an interdenominational Bible study opportunity. We meet from the first of September through the first of May with two sessions, Fall and Winter/Spring. We typically offer 10-12 different studies each session. The Living Life Live study written by Helen Fisher and Donna Kay Nicklas is the foundational study at WOW. All other studies are biblically based and written by known authors who are in agreement with the truth of God. Here is WOW’s Vision and Mission:

Vision: We desire the heart of every woman be transformed into the likeness of  Jesus Christ in order that she may be a godly influence in her home, her church, her community, and her world to the glory of God.

Mission: We desire that every woman be equipped with the truth of God that they may be free to become more and more in every way like Jesus Christ.

Helen and I founded Women on Wednesdays as a result of our individual and personal experiences of spiritual transformation. Our God who began a good work in us was using His truth to conform us more and more into the image of his Son, Jesus Christ. We found that life lived in an intimate love-faith relationship with Jesus was far more rewarding than a life lived in self-effort and sinfulness.

As we continued to experience the transforming work of God in our own lives, we desired that for every woman. We wanted to equip women with the truth of God that sets mankind free from the bondage of sin and brokenness. Many believers in Christ live in captivity - self-focused, unsatisfied, and defeated. Their lives are consumed with fear, anxiety, and self-servitude when freedom in Christ is offered in abundance.

WOW is a relationship-based ministry which makes our focus knowing God, loving women, and making disciples. We desire that women experience a true sense of knowing they are valued, worthy, and special, and that they can become all that God has created them to be.
